Mad Hungry Spurtles As Seen on TV Premium 4-Piece Acacia Wood Set

Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 1 lb. ground lamb or beef
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 pita bread rounds

For the Tzatziki Sauce:

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Additional Items:

  • 1 thick onion slice (for stacking)
  • 8 chopsticks (for stacking)
  • Aluminum foil (to create the stack)

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, mix ground meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
  2. Preheat your Kalorik Air Fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place patties in the basket and air fry for 12-15 minutes or until cooked through.
  3. While the meat cooks, prepare the Tzatziki sauce. In a separate bowl, combine yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Make your mixing easy with Mad Hungry Spurtles.
  4. Create the stack: Place the thick onion slice on a sheet of aluminum foil. Insert two chopsticks into the onion to create a stable base. Assemble your cooked meat patties on top of the onion slice, alternating with pita bread rounds.
  5. Carefully wrap the aluminum foil around the stack, securing it in place. Use your Kalorik Cobra Knife to trim off gyro meat layers as you serve.
  6. To serve, add Tzatziki sauce and your favorite toppings like tomatoes, lettuce, and onions to each layer of gyro meat as you go.

Chef's Tip: For a different twist on this dish, mix half of the beef and half of the lamb together and enjoy your homemade Kalorik Air Fryer Stacked Gyros with a side of Air Fried French Fries or Rice Pilaf.
