Teriyaki Salmon is a crowd favorite and easy to throw together for a large or small group alike!
Ingredients
2- 6 oz salmon filet, skin on
¼ cup of soy sauce
1” knob fresh ginger, finely grated
2 cloves garlic, finely grated
¼ cup brown sugar, packed
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon sesame oil
3 tablespoons mirin
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 ounces water
2 green onions, finely sliced
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
In a small bowl combine fresh ginger, garlic, soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, mirin, and sesame oil. Whisk to combine. In a separate small bowl mix together cornstarch and water. Add to soy sauce mix and stir to combine.
Pour soy mixture into a small pot and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly until sauce is thickened. Add additional water if the sauce becomes too thick. Set sauce aside to cool.
Preheat your oven to 425F
Place salmon on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Season each of your filets lightly with salt and add 2-3 teaspoons of cooled teriyaki sauce to each fillet. Distribute the sauce evenly on all sides with your spurtle.
Bake fillets for 10-12 minutes or until cooked to your desired texture.
Top filets with sesame seeds and green onions and serve with your favorite sides!

To know when your fish is cooked; insert a cake tester into the thickest portion of fish; it should easily passes through the flesh with no resistance.
