3-4 Large Haas Avocados
½ cup tomato, small diced
¼ cup red onion, small diced
2 tablespoons cilantro, minced
1 teaspoon salt, divided in half
½ teaspoon chili flakes
3 limes, juiced (1/3 cup)
1 tablespoon Jalapeno, minced (optional)

1. Add ¼ teaspoon of salt to diced tomatoes in a small bowl, mix and set aside.
2. Cut avocadoes in half and remove the seed. Using a small paring knife, score the avocado flesh and scoop away from the skin.
3. In a large bowl add cubed avocado, red onion, cilantro, chili flakes, lime juice and jalapeno if desired. Drain liquid from the tomatoes and add to the avocado mix.
4. Mash avocado mix together until desired texture is achieved. Season with salt to taste; adding more if needed.
For easy chunky salsa, push the avocado flesh through a cookie cooling rack before mixing with remaining ingredients.
