AIR FRYER HARD BOILED EGGS

Making hard boiled eggs will never be the same; no worry about whether they’re simmering or boiling over, no heating up the kitchen, no worry about the cook time. Just set the rack in your air fryer and take the eggs directly from the fridge.

Ingredients

10 eggs
Wire rack

Instructions

1. Set your wire rack inside the basket and place the eggs on top of the rack.

2. Set the temperature to 250ºF and the timer to 18 minutes.

2. After the eggs are done carefully remove them from the air fryer and place them in a bowl of ice water, to stop the cooking process (and to make them easier to peel!). Then peel the eggs and enjoy!

This is specifically for the Kalorik airfry oven, why wouldn’t they tell you which setting to put it on? I’m going to assume that it’s Air Fry setting that you put it on, but we all know what assume can mean!

This looks like a recipe for an air fryer OVEN but I decided to try it in my dual-basket 10 litre air fryer. I used only four eggs (in case it was a disaster) but it WASN’T! The eggs were PERFECT! And after about 5/10 minutes in an ice-water bath, they peeled perfectly ! I won’t be boiling in water again.

Hello, I am a newbie. Do you put the eggs on regular bake setting or air fry setting? Does it matter where you place the air fry rack within the unit?

    Thanks!

I was very skeptical at first when I saw this recipe how to cook hard boiled eggs in the airfryer, but I thought that I have nothing to lose , just 10 eggs and 18 minutes, LOL.
I am so glad I gave it a try – eggs came out PERFECT!!!!!!
Thank you Kalorik for this inspirational recipe.

    :-)
